Who is AcumenEdge?

AcumenEdge is a direct marketing and events management agency, founded in November 2002.

AcumenEdge first sponsored and organised an International Rugby 10’s competition in April 2003 and is the sponsor and organiser of the International Mini Rugby Series and the International Youth Rugby Series.

Who is Jamie McKimm?

Jamie McKimm is one of the directors of AcumenEdge. Jamie played rugby from the age of 8 for a variety of schools and clubs- Melville College (now Stewarts / Melville) in Edinburgh, Churchers College, Petersfield, Hampshire Colts, Tavistock, Royal Navy (Falkland Islands Tournament), Faslane, Helensburgh, Hyndland FP and Beaconsfield.  Sadly age caught up with him and he no longer plays, however he's still actively involved in the sport.

Jamie has over 24 years of volunteering in junior rugby. For the last 14 years he has been a Buckinghamshire County Referee, and was his son’s age group coach at Beaconsfield Rugby Club (currently with 660 Mini and Youth Players) for 10 years.

Jamie enjoys dedicating his spare time and resources to junior rugby, and has now set up the International Mini Rugby Series; an innovative and different tournament  bringing together Mini Rugby players from around the world to compete in a sport he has enjoyed for many years. These tournaments are for the benefit of players, coaches and the local area where the tournament is held.

As with rugby clubs, individuals need to protect themselves and their own personnel property in the event of a shortfall in revenues to cover the costs of the tournament, so AcumenEdge Ltd is sponsoring and organising the International Mini Rugby Series.

This year's International Mini Rugby Series is being professionally organised by a small full-time team at AcumenEdge. The 2009 Series event attracted 740 players in six age groups from under 7 to Under 12 with a further 1500 spectators.The 2010 Series events attracted 1400 players from over 100 rugby teams with a total of over 4000 spectators.
